Providing an update on funeral arrangements for Kelly:
The service starts at 10am but all are welcome at all times.
Services will be tomorrow, August 8th, at the Church of the Madalene. Address: 3188 E 22nd St, Tulsa, OK 74114.
Rosary and viewing will be at 9:00 AM
Mass of Christian Burial will start at 10:00 AM
Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery followed by a luncheon back at the Church of Madalene.
The slideshow presentation to remember and honor Kelly will be shown during the luncheon.
All are welcome.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Diocese of Tulsa and Eastern Oklahoma.

We were notified this afternoon that Kelly passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family. Funeral arrangements are being made and will be shared shortly. The family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers.

Good evening, friends and family of Kelly, Brian and James,
Due to complications in Kelly's condition, the doctors have released her to begin in-home hospice care. She is resting peacefully and is pain free. The family would like to send their sincerest gratitude for all of the calls, texts, prayers and donations they have received. The outpouring of love and support has been overwhelming and they can’t thank everyone enough. Please continue to pray for peace and strength during this very difficult time.

Dear friends and family of Kelly and Brian Balaskovits,
As most of you know, on July 21, 2015, Kelly and Brian were confronted with some of the most frightening news anyone might hear. Kelly was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer. From the moment of her diagnosis, Kelly decided she would be a fighter. The best example of this was in her initial Facebook post which read ...
"Well my little family and I are embarking on a new journey together. I have stage 3 breast cancer. We have 100% faith in God, my amazing oncologist, our medical team plus tons of love and laughter to make it through this. Please try not feel sorry for us. I need support and strength, not sorrow. Please just keep my little family and I close to your hearts and in your prayers."
Since Kelly's diagnosis in 2015, she has had multiple rounds of chemo and radiation, however the cancer has spread to her hips and femur. Most recently, it has now metasticized to her liver.
In just the last few weeks, Kelly was laid off from her job and no longer has medical or life insurance.
Kelly and Brian are now traveling back and forth to Houston's MD Anderson for treatment.
As recently as the week of July 16, 2018, Kelly began having pain in her abdomen and was admitted into St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK.
So many people have reached out to ask how they can help. First and foremost, the Balaskovits family needs your prayers. They are strong in their faith and while they are in the fight of their lives, they believe in God's will and His ability to rid her body of this awful disease.
Next, between the trips to Houston, the hospital stays, the medications, chemo, radiation and everything in between, the last thing they should have to worry about is money. As you can imagine, Kelly and Brian aren't the type to ask for help, so as their close friends, we are going to ask for help on their behalf.
We are asking for you to take a moment, say a prayer, and then donate to this awesome family. Any amount is the right amount. No donation is too small or too large. Last but not least, share this with everyone that knows this family and even those that don't.
