Dear family and friends of both Skip and Jo, this is both humiliating and embarrassing. However, I am desperate.
When Skip had his stroke and could no longer work, we lost $5,000 to $6,000 in income per month. We at first got $2,000 on short term disability, but long term took us down to $670.00. We have really been struggling. Their lease is up August 1, 2018. They are planning to move because they cannot afford our current home!
Here’s the problem, my estimate on the cost to move will be $5,000 to $6,000. I have managed to save $200.00. I don’t think I’m going to make it. If you can help us with anything, $5.00, we would feel forever blessed! I am just squeaking by paying household expenses each month. I am selling anything and everything that I can to raise money. I am having a rummage sale later this month. Also putting things in fb marketplace.
Even if you live in the area and could help us move to avoid a moving company expense. Or have a day to help us clean the attic or storage. We will be forever indebted to any of you!!
