Support GorlestonClifftopFestival

We need the help of our festival attendees and local supporters to secure our festivals future and to help us improve year on year. As a free event run by a group of volunteers,in its 20th year, we are running at a yearly loss of several thousand pounds, and due to the lack of local companies able to sponsor the amounts required for us to run, coupled with no increase in funds given to us by the Great Yarmouth Tourism and Business Improvement Area (GYTBIA), we are struggling to continue to keep putting this great event on each year.
The festival costs around £18,500 to put on - this is just the minimum running costs! Bands play for free (40 hours of live music) and many other attractions give us highly discounted rates. We are able to raise around £16,000 each year through charging stall holders (inc the funfair) and the firework funding from GYTBIA (however we fear this will stop in 2018 when the air show takes place). But you can see this amount is not sustainable to keep the festival going on the scale that it is, let alone to pay for extra attractions which people can enjoy for free.
Hopefully you can show your support and appreciation for this great, low cost family festival. After enjoying this for 20 years, please give something back so we can continue to deliver year upon year.
As much, or as little, that you are willing to give will all go back into the festival so we can keep going for years to come!
