Blessing Fund for Kinsey and Family

Kinsey Mitchell is the daughter of Amy (Wright) Mitchell and sister to Kayla and Trent. She is a fifth-grader at Covington Elementary School. Kinsey became ill September 19th with what seemed to be a stomach virus. However, the vomiting continued for weeks then other issues began to arise, such as headaches, circulatory problems, extreme pain in various body parts (especially her legs and feet), severe fatigue, inability to eat, loss of regulation of body temperature, and sleeping for most of the day, among other things. Kinsey has been to numerous doctors, visited three different hospitals, undergone multiple tests, and required several hospital stays. Thus far, the doctors have made no diagnosis nor have any answers after two months since the onset of her illness. 

This once energetic and happy girl with lots of spunk is bound to a wheelchair and is no longer allowed to walk. In addition, Kinsey has missed a great deal of school this year and now only attends for an hour or two at a time. She must also use the wheelchair while at school.

Amy, a single mother who works full-time, has been unable to work very much the last two months because Kinsey requires 24-hr supervision and care. Along with a loss of income, expenses are mounting with medical bills, gas for increased driving, and hotel stays while visiting out-of-town hospitals, and the quickly approaching holidays.
