Support for the Succurro Family

On Thursday, March 16th, Pat Succurro was involved in a freak accident with their family pet Vinny.  Pat was rushed to the hospital and underwent 4 1/2 hours of surgery, with over 300 stitches, in an attempt to repair the massive cuts to both of his hands and arms.  The damage to the underlying tissue, muscle and tendon has been extensive.  They did their best, but were unable to reattach one of his fingers.  A few days after surgery, he was spiking fevers and having uncontrollable pain.  He underwent a second long surgery to clean out his wounds and assess any further damage. He is unable to use either hand now, we have to wait and see how much use will return if any.
 The family has been devasted by the injuries to Pat, as well as the loss of their dog Vinny.
  Currently, he remains in serious condition at the hospital, and there is no determined discharge date.  With Pat's extensive trauma, there will be a long road to recovery, even with Yvette tending to him almost 24/7.  Expenses are already starting to pile up.
