Support for Nandadevi y Sundara  (Andrea and Greg Traymar)
(Leer la versión en Español debajo)

In March of 2018 while visiting family in Argentina, Nandadevi started experiencing debilitating neck and shoulder pain. When returning to their home at Ananda Village in California, Nandadevi continued to experience pain, tiredness, and now double vision.  After an MRI of her brain, the results showed that she had a rare type of brain tumor and hydrocephalus. She was rushed to Stanford Hospital’s emergency center.  A surgical procedure was done which drained the fluid in the brain, and a biopsy of the tumor was taken.  It was determined then that the tumor was malignant and a second surgery was performed on June 28, 2018 to have the tumor removed.

Nandadevi is doing well in her recovery from the surgeries and is now preparing for 6 weeks of radiation at the brain center at UC San Francisco.  She will then need to have MRI’s every three months, for years to come, to make sure the tumor has not returned.

Financially, Nandadevi and Sundara have been out of work since March and the two of them have been living solely on her disability income, which is very low. Sundara has had to take a leave of absence from work since March in order to care for Nandadevi.

Currently their medical bills and travel expenses are over $17,000.  We would like to raise $25,000 to help them with medical costs and living expenses while Nandadevi continues treatment, and until they can both return to work.

In this moment of need a donation of any amount will be greatly appreciated in helping our beloved friend.

Thank you in advance for your love and support! Keep spreading the word.
