Support for Lindsey Thomas

Lindsey Thomas was involved in a serious and life threatening car accident. She has a tramautic brain injury where she had a blood clot and brain bleed, multiple fractures on her pelvis, and spleen bleed. She had to have brain surgery to save her life and she is still in a coma. We are currently trying to get her to wake up. She is in the trauma intensive care unit and everyday she stays is another bill.  She also has a part of her skull in her stomach to keep it from decaying and the doctors say she will need brain surgery again in a year to put the skull back on. But not for another year. The doctors say she could be in the hospital for months. If all is well we will get her home as soon as possible but she will have to undergo a lot of therapy from all fields. My mother wanted to take paid family leave but my sister’s doctor won’t sign off on it and my mom wants to take care of Lindsey full time but she would be without a paycheck. We will also need numerous handicap equipment that we do not know if insurance will cover or not. The ambulance ride alone was over $1000 and her brain surgery was $100,000. Insurance is going to pay a good chunk of it but the part that is left to us through copays etc we really do not have. Please help support my family. We will stop at nothing to get Lindsey the best possible care through her long recovery but we could use any help we can get. We all have really appreciated your love, prayers, and support so far.
