Support For John P. Bussard

Donation protected
On November 23, 2018 John suffered severe injuries as a result from a horrific tractor trailer crash near Mt Airy, NC.

John was taken to Wake Forest Baptist Trauma Center in Winston Salem, NC. There he underwent surgery to repair 2 broken vertebra in his neck. John also suffered damage to his spinal cord. The damage to his spinal cord has left John with little or no ability to move his arms, legs, hands and feet.

John was then transported to the Shepherd Spinal Chord Rehabilitation Center in Atlanta, GA where he will forgo rehabilitation.  The prognosis of John at this time is uncertain.  Although John is a tough "Bussard", it is uncertain if he will regain the ability to walk or do certain things for himself.

John is expected to be in the Shepherd Center for 8-10 weeks and the transfer to a day program kin Atlanta where he will learn to do day-to day things.

It is uncertain that John will be able to driver or work again at this point. His home may have to be retrofitted to accommodate him upon his return.

His family is asking for help to continue the upkeep of his finances, and to ensure he is able to keep his home while he is undergoing rehabilitation.

Thank you very much, from the bottom of our hearts, from our family to yours!
