Help Jessica & James Herren

On Saturday, May 19, 2018, Jessica  and her two-year-old son Elijah, were in a car accident as they were leaving the grocery store. Another vehicle had ran a red light and struck the driver side of Jessica's car. Fortunately, EJ was securely fastened in his child seat on the passenger side and was able to walk away from the accident with no injuries. Jessica, 30 weeks pregnant with her first baby girl, received critical injuries and was airlifted to St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. Once she arrived to the hospital, the doctors had told her that baby girl did not survive the accident. Jessica remained in stable condition, but suffered from a ruptured spleen, a broken pelvis, and a fractured hip. The following day the doctors performed a C-section on Jessica, where she was able to say goodbye to her baby girl, Beulah. 


As many of you know, Jessica is an amazing woman, and a wonderful mother, daughter, and sister. Her and James have a long road ahead of  them emotionally and physically, and at this time, it is uncertain when they will be able to return to work. The family has received an overwhelming amount of help from the community already, but will still need help with the steep medical expenses and other living costs. 

All we want is for them to focus on Jessica's health without the added stress of worrying about finances. So many people have reached out to the family and want to help, and we want to give them a place to do so. Jessica and James are so overwhelmed with and grateful for the support that has been offered to them.
