On the morning of July 12, 2018, Grand Master Brett Hart was having unusual, serious pain in his lower back. He knew something was wrong and immediately asked his roommate to take him to the ER.
The next day, we found out that Brett was having severe kidney failure, high blood pressure and was in the ICU. He remained in the ICU for 11 days with a lot of questions unanswered. All the doctors could do for him was treat him with pain medication because they could not find the core to his problem.
As of Saturday, Brett was going to be released from the hospital. He was one step out the door until the doctors came in with the results of his final CT Scan. The results were that he had a kidney stone so unfortunately he was unable to leave the hospital.
This morning, he passed the kidney stone and the doctors got his blood pressure under control, but then something else caused some worry. As we all know, Bret had open heart surgery about 5 years ago. Therefore; Brett is suffering with an issue with his Aortic Valve in his heart. He remains in the hospital for further testing and treatment. He should be discharged within the next few days, but once he is home, he will be down for at the minimum of 2 weeks.
Over the past couple weeks, the medical bills have piled up as well as his own expenses. The medical bills are still coming in and probably won't stop for a while. So I ask if you could please donate to help GMH get the proper treatment, testing and medication that he needs in order to heal. Anything helps, even if it is just a share!
