Evangeline (Eva) was a happy and adorable four-year-old girl living with her family in Santa Rosa, California. In March of 2019, Eva started having some odd symptoms – she was drooling, and her balance was off. Her family took her to the emergency room and soon after got a diagnosis that turned their world upside down. They learned that little Eva had an aggressive malignant brain tumor, a terminal illness for which there are only experimental treatments.
Ever since she was diagnosed, Eva’s parents and family have been utterly devastated. They do not want to lose Eva and are desperately praying for a miracle. Eva recently had radiation therapy and the doctors will determine soon whether she can participate in an experimental clinical trial.
Even as they pray for a miracle, Eva’s family and parents are facing the loss of their dear beloved daughter. Ever since Eva was diagnosed Eva’s father (who is the family’s only wage earner and who had been previously working 7 days a week at a restaurant) has stopped working as much. Eva’s father wants to spend every precious moment he has with his daughter, praying and making her as happy as he possibly can.
The family has 5 children total and they are running dangerously low on funds. They never thought they would be in this position, but they need help from the community.
Please contribute anything you can to ensure that Eva’s family can keep a roof over their head and pay their bills as they navigate this tragic situation.
