I’m fundraising to cover my travel expenses to participate in the 2018 WFTDA Championships in November 2018 as a roller derby official. I am the first British official to be selected as a Non-Skating Official at Champs!!
I will also be giving half of however much I raise to The Proud Trust’s re-building fund, hence the ambitious goal!
The Proud Trust are an incredible organisation who advocate and campaign for gay rights, support young LGBT+ people, and provide training and advice for schools and teachers. They have outgrown their community centre and need to raise £900,000 in match funding to be able to re-build.
When Menace (Caroline) came out, they were there for her. I want them to be there for more young Menaces for many more years to come!

When I reach £200:
”Cindy”: 5 x pull-ups, 10 push-ups, 15 squats. As many rounds as possible in 20 mins....
When I reach £500
“Fran”: Thrusters and Pull-ups, 21-15-9 reps for time...
If I reach £1000
“Barbara”: 20 pull-ups, 30 push-ups, 40 sit-ups, 50 squats. 5 rounds for time...
Menace promises there will be photo/video footage, via Facebook.
I hate exercise!

To be able to reach the officiating standard required for Champs I have travelled internationally for 3 years, paying almost entirely my own travel and accommodation expenses. It is an incredible honour to be selected for this level of competition, and thank you for all your support along the way.
So if I’ve ever officiated a game you’ve skated in, coached or watched, I’d really really appreciate a few quid. And if you are feeling super generous, why not double that to help The Proud Trust!
You all know that of course I’m doing this for the love, but the love has cost me a shit ton of cash!
