Support Emile & Melinda Etheridge

Many of you know Emile Etheridge (known to so many as “Mr. E”) as a teacher from the Uniontown Area School District or as a volunteer at one of many local institutions. 

He enjoyed a very successful career as a teacher and coach, encouraging and motivating young people of all ages through his kindness and example.  

Mr. Etheridge was the type of caring educator who was always there to offer help; he was there to lend a hand; he was there to offer words of hope. He is also an accomplished author and motivational speaker, touching the lives of many others outside the Uniontown Area School District through the written word or his countless visits to local organizations. 

For several years, Mr. Etheridge has been a caretaker for his wife, Melinda, due to her health issues. Mrs. Etheridge is confined to a wheelchair 

Unfortunately, Mr. Etheridge has also experienced debilitating medical issues recently.  He has a long road of recovery in front of him, which limits his availability to care for his wife.  The couple now requires 24-hour medical assistance and this care comes at a significant cost.

Please take a minute to share this information with your classmates, your colleagues, your family and your friends.  Any assistance to this campaign will provide some relief to the Etheridges. 

Mr. Etheridge touched many lives throughout his career and this is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate an acknowledgment for the great influence he has had on so many of us.
