Support Central Falls Athletics

We are reaching out on behalf of the Central Falls Alumni Association in hopes of receiving a donation to support Central Falls athletes.
The mission of the Central Falls Alumni Association (CFAA) is to foster a culture of achievement in the schools and community. The association believes it is our civic responsibility to contribute to the positive progress of the city and help cultivate a community where education is at its core. It is our commitment to consistently hold Central Falls youth to high standards and work tirelessly to equip them with the tools and resources necessary to meet and exceed them.
The CFAA is aware of the unfortunate circumstance that our athletes in Central Falls currently have no field to play home games on. In fact, our football team has played every since game this season on someone else’s turf. While we absolutely believe that supporting academics is at our core, as some of us are former athletes, we know that athletics are part of the resources that keep our kids motivated. We know that athletics is part of what keeps Central Falls kids safe. Instead of potentially heading home to tough circumstances, we want students heading to practice to be surrounded by their friends. Instead of heading to the streets, we want students heading to a field.
With this in mind, we have set out a goal to raise funds to support ALL of our athletes to show them that while we wait for the fields to be repaired, alumni have their back. We want to raise funds to support every single athletic team in Central Falls.
Our plan is to organize small events throughout the next couple of months to raise money to donate to the Central Falls Athletic program. Your generous donation will help us raise funds for this initiative, including:
-Bringing back a cheerleading team
-Purchasing equipment for the football team
-Purchasing uniforms for the women's and men's soccer teams
-Purchasing equipment for the volleyball team
-Other miscellaneous needs of CF athletic teams
