Support Bryan in his 1st 6K the "Race for Grace"

Donation protected
Bryan has struggled with addiction since he was 11 years old.  What started with severe bullying as a child turned into depression, suicidal ideation and eventually a life long battle with addiction.  There is nothing we have not tried to help Bryan in his journey towards recovery with little to no results until Teen Challenge.

A little over 4 months ago, Bryan checked himself into Teen Challenge Men's Center. Teen Challenge is a 12-14 month residential, faith-based program established for the treatment of life controlling behaviors and addictions such as drugs and alcohol.  Teen Challenge offers programs for adolescent boys and girls as well as adult men and women. Teen Challenge Middle Georgia is a 60 bed facility for adult men.  The program involves Group Studies, Personal Counseling and Job Training.

Instead of posting the campaign picture for "The Race for Grace", Mike and I chose a recent before and after picture of Bryan.  One simply cannot look at the difference from the young man embattled in full blow addiction to the young man today just 4 months into recovery with Teen Challenge.  Even though Bryan still has such a long way to go, his progress today is nothing short of God's grace.  Bryan continues to improve himself with new goals every day and has registered to run the 6k in the 7th Annual Race for Grace 2018 on Thanksgiving Day.  This is his first race and he has been training for weeks.  The Race for Grace is a fundraiser sponsored by Teen Challenge to support to helping those struggling with addition and other life-controlling issues through their Christ centered program.  Some of the families are able to pay part of all of the tuition but many of the men who arrive, arrive with absolutely nothing.

Mike and I are reaching out to each and every one of you to ask for your support.  Not only does the donation help Teen Challenge continue to do their incredible work but with each dollar Bryan can earn special incentives like a special movie night to dinner at a restaurant (rare treat) to an extended Family Day Pass, all the way up to a overnight river rafting trip and 4 free passes to Disney.  Every incentive is designed to encourage the men to keep pressing in and moving forward.  We've told Bryan about all of the prayers,  encouragement and love people are sending his way.  Bryan and our family are extremely grateful.  We would like to continue that encouragement by helping Bryan earn an incentive all while contributing to a GREAT cause.

We know there are a million fundraisers out there and there is no possible way to contribute to every one but if this story touches your heart and you want to show Bryan additional support, please consider donating even $1 dollar.  Our country has a serious addiction epidemic which is destroying families and lives.  Teen Challenge is one of the organizations doing their best to save one life at a time.

Thank you so much for your consideration and God Bless!

Sincerely, Michael and Shannon Hayes
