Support Big Art - Trippity Twitchit

We are reaching out to our community to help with some of the final funding on our newest interactive art project Trippity Twitchit. This is our follow up project to Notorious BAD, our fire breathing metal dragon that appeared at Burning Man / Freezer Burn / Beakerhead and Fozzy Fest.

Trippity Twitchit is a towering twisted vine metal garden filled with spiky, venus fly trap inspired characters. The project has three separate interactive flame effects, each of which you can control yourself - or coordinate with friends to engage all three flames at once. Unfortunately, we’ve run into a bit of a jam. Some of the funding we were hoping for did not materialize. Trippity Twitchit is in full build mode, but the logistics of getting it round trip to events is starting to set in.

Money donated will be used entirely to get the project from event to event and help cover some of the consumable costs along the way, below are our estimated expenses to get this awesome creation down to burning man.

2nd Trailer - $5,000-6,000
Fuel - $2,500-3,000 (2 trucks with trailers 5,000 km round trip)
Propane - $900 (3 100 lb tanks filled at least 3 times on playa)
Misc & Emergency Fund - $1,500 (Who knows what can happen on that long drive)

Any funds over and above or unused will be going into our project for next year to keep pushing fire art!

We’ll also have this project at Freezerburn and hopefully another event in Calgary in September. We’re still working out the details on that one now. We want everyone in Southern Alberta to have a chance to play with fire. We are super grateful for any support. If you’re not able to donate, please share to help get this out in the world!
