First, let me tell you a few words about my brother-in-law...
Alexei is one of the most honest and trustworthy people I have ever met in my life! His family and friends are everything to him. He is a passionate scientist and a talented photographer. He loves being outdoors and spending time with his family.
And....he is also very brave! Alexei is fighting a Stage 4 Malignant Glomus Tumor ( rare type of sarcoma) that he was diagnosed with 6 months ago. He went through chemotherapy and radiation treatments and things were stable for a while. But since last week, Alexei is in the hospital again where he has to receive multiple blood transfusions and have other medical procedures. Through this difficult time, he is trying to stay positive and strong for his family and his 13 month old son Daniel.
Alexei and his wife Anya live in Washington DC. They have friends and family who live far and can’t be with them right now, but they all want to help. This is how this campaign was born!
10% of all donations made, will go to The American Cancer Society to help fund research, treatment and care for cancer patients.
The rest of the funds will be used to cover Alexei’s medical expenses, childcare for Daniel and time off work for Alexei and Anya.
There is no donation too small, any amount will be very much appreciated!
