Summitt Photography Lens Fund

Hello! Thanks for checking out my page!  My name is Chris Summitt. I love taking photos and if you live in Tucson, Arizona there is a chance that you may have seen my work.  You may be familiar with my documentary work covering various protests in Arizona.  Maybe you have seen some of my pictures of the stars such as the milky way galaxy in Arizona or once in a lifetime astronomical events like Comet Panstarrs passing by.There are also my nature photographs like this collection of sunsets or my latest set of weed pics. 

            However you might have come across my photos or this page, you are here now and I need your help.  I'm a student right now at the UofA living on grad student wages learning about optics.  It turns out that photography is expensive and can require several pieces of equipment which can cost thousands of dollars.  I've been paying these costs out of my own pocket.  Now, in order to take my photos to the next level I need a new lens. It's out of my budget to purchase by myself but with your help we can make it happen!  This lens is the Nikon 24-70mm and it is very important to the work that I do.  It is the world's best documentary lens. With this lens I can continue to capture Arizona history as it unfolds, as well as the beauty that surrounds us, and share it with you all.

            I believe strongly in sharing these photos and have donated hours of my time documenting important pieces of history.  I have tried to share my vision with as many people as I can.  I want to bring the beauty that I see to those around me.  If I have ever posted a pic that made you smile or feel something please consider donating so I can keep doing that.  Maybe a pic I posted was perfect to use for your profile on facebook or maybe I was able to capture that lunar eclipse that was too early for you to wake up for.
