I need money as soon as possible to sign up for a UCB intensive improv class for the week of August 21st and it would make me so incredibly happy to attend this I just can't AFFORD IT.
Looooonnggg Story:
Ok, so first of all, thank you for even reading this.
My name is Phil Carroll, and I'm a College sophomore. I always believed I was funny, and as a way to meet people once I got to college I joined my school's comedy club, and realized I had more than just a passion for it. After only a few Improv rehearsals I began to recognize that I luckily had a real knack for it, and I continued to progress as the year went on. So I come to you all today seeking your generosity. Upright Citizen's Brigade, or UCB for short, offers improv classes for all levels of improvisers. This class is improv 101, which will allow me to perfect all the basics of this type of comedy performance.
The Cheesy Part:
A donation from you, no matter what size, would genuinely mean the world to me. The rush I get from performing improv comedy is unlike anything I've ever experienced, and I truly believe I could be succesful within it. I've seen several UCB shows in my life and they were all so amazing. To be given the oppurtunity to learn from the people I have watched perform would be such a dream come true. I love laughing and I love comedy and I love you all. I am sincerely thankful for your altruism.
