Summer 2019 D1 Softball Australian Tour

My name is Morgan Day and I am a Division 1 student-athlete playing softball at Illinois State University. Based on my performance in my first year of collegiate competition, I have been invited to travel on the trip of a lifetime for a 12-day Division 1 softball tour this upcoming summer in Australia! It has always been a dream of mine to visit Australia, and what better way to combine this trip with my love and passion for softball!
On this tour, I would be playing against Australian softball teams along with other Division 1 collegiate softball players from the United States. This would be an incredible experience to meet athletes from another country as well as other athletes from the United States. When we are not playing softball games, our time will be spent exploring the sights and wildlife of Australia! Some sites we will visit include Sydney, Coogee Beach, Brisbane, Tangalooma Island, the Gold Coast, and several more!
The cost for the entire trip is $5,000. This includes a round-trip flight from LAX to Sydney, 9 nights of lodging, 2 meals daily, all transportation while in Australia, the fee for an Australian Visa application, Health Insurance through GeoBlue, and all excursions while visiting Australian cities and beaches.
To participate in this tour would be a dream come true for me. I would carry the experiences and memories made on a trip like this throughout my entire lifetime. An opportunity like this does not come along every day, and with your help, I would be able to accept my invitation to participate of the 2019 Beyond Sports Division 1 Softball Tour in Australia.
