Dear Friends,
The task of raising the necessary funds to both begin the journey of recording an album as well as completing it is quite difficult.
There are many factors involved such as musicians, studio, artwork, travel expenses, mixing, mastering, promotion and much more.
This GoFundMe campaign has been put in place to complete a project very near and dear to my heart. It is a new recording in tribute to my mentor and friend Lee Shaw who passed in October of 2015.
Lee was an inspiration to so many including friends, fans, students and fellow artists. She gave all of herself to the music and asked for nothing in return other than good health and a happy life. The 6 songs on Suite Lee are original compositions of mine to pay tribute to the many ways in which Lee enriched the lives of others.
The original goal of $5,000 was previously met, however the total expenses to complete this project are just over $8,000. I'd like to say I have the means to do this out of pocket, but the reality is that I do not.
As the projected release date of October 21st grows near, it is imperitive that I raise the money needed to make this project a success. Will you help us realize this goal?
So many amazing people have already given of themselves and for that I am grateful. But the mission is not complete.
Let's make one final push and bring Suite Lee to life.
