Help Sugar Fight Diabetes

My name is Tam and I am the lucky mom to this beautiful Great Pyrenees fur baby.  Her name is Sugar and she is 16 months old.  Sugar is 1 of 5 pups that were abandoned at birth by her owners and luckily found and sent to an amazing Great Pyrenees Rescue.  I was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to adopt this beautiful girl at 3 months old.  She lives with my husband and I, our 2 young children and a bonded best friend named Scully, who is our 11 year old Great Pyrenees (also a rescue).  Sugar was diagnosed with diabetes yesterday (which was an overwhelming shock to us).  We are reaching out to all of you kind folks and animal lovers for some much needed financial help to get Sugar well again.  Sugar will require daily insulin injections and weekly glucose testing by her vet, along with a special diet and possibly pancreatitis surgery.  We have set our goal at $2000 which will help us cover the cost for her diagnosis and initial tretment only.  We are confident that with this help we will be able to cover the cost of her lifelong monthly treatments of insulin and testing.  Sugar is expected to go blind over the next few months so our goal is to keep her here with us where she is loved and safe.

If the unfortunate happens and Sugar does not pull through all donations will be accounted for and donated to a Great Pyrenees Rescue of our choice.
