Studying Abroad in South Africa!

Hi! My name is Emily Stochel, and I am studying abroad in South Africa this summer through the Human Services Program at Western Washington University!
My dream is to work for Child Protective Services, and this adventure is a huge step towards that! While I will be in South Africa, my group and I will be working for Non-governmental Organizations, helping people. I intend to mostly work in the field of child welfare.
I want more than anything to help other people, and I am ecstatic to have this opportunity, especially in South Africa!! The whole trip costs over $9,000, but I am trying to raise $6,700, becuase my Dad has graciously affered to help out. I am just trying to raise as much money as possible, becuase this is really important to me.
I would deeply appreciate any help given. It is for a great cause, and will make a difference. Thank you so much!
