Kris’ Neurological Illnesses

On the morning of June 10th I woke up not feeling quite right. I got dressed and still went into work. As I started walking in I noticed that I was having more trouble than usual walking (I’ve recently been diagnosed with bppv) and by the time I clocked in I felt as if I were in shock. My coworker drove me to the ER and after 7 hours I was told it might be ms and I had a small amount of white matter disease. I went to see two different neurologists and my primary multiple times. I’ve been told that this could be ms, Parkinson’s disease, or some sort of nerve damage. I’ve had multiple mris and ct scans and the doctors are still waiting for results. I’m not a person who normally asks for help but my families have had their resources drained by other family emergencies and I’ve had to come here. I have no idea how long it will take to get a proper diagnosis and path to recovery and my full time job is being extremely patient and helping how they can. The bills are still coming and I’m falling behind because of this health setback. The copays and incoming doctor bills are adding to my plight.  I hope you can donate to my need. Update- 6/29/18-high protein levels and spots on my brain mri are leading towards ms but I’m hoping not. My neurologist is sending me to have more tests done with more specialists. I’ve never been so stressed and exhausted in my life. Wish me luck.

7/5/18- I hope everyone had a great 4th! I was able to get out on my own for a little bit today. The shaking wasn’t bad until I was walking around some. It’s really frustrating feeling so limited by everything now. I hope y’all are well and I love y’all ❤️
