Shed that Foam: Styrofoam Recycling

www.mcdef.org .  We're raising money to keep Styrofoam out of landfills and far away from our watershed.  Styrofoam takes many, many years to break down and is detrimental to our environment. By setting up collection sheds in McHenry County, IL, we are helping residents help us to re-purpose polystyrene. Donations go toward expenses for truck rental to pick up Styrofoam from our three sites in the county and for related expenses, such as gas and mileage.  Our volunteers dedicate a day each week to make the rounds and we all thank you for your support!  The Styrofoam collected at our sites get up-cycled into new products.
