Stunning's Boxing Club

I was a troubled child in and out of fights, I ended up in trouble with the law.The officer seeing that I have been in a lot of fights and asked why don't you box so he told me if I were to join penas boxing gym and start boxing he wouldn't throw me in juvenile detention center. So I talked with Alvino Pena and he told me he would accept me as long as I kept my fighting in the ring he then taught me discipline, self respect and to have respect for others ,boxing made me who I am today it changed my life forever!! Im tired of hearing about all these young kids committing theses crimes! Its because they have no positive influences in there life. These kids don't got many after school options to keep them away from trouble! I want to be able to help With these kids! The only way I can is to try to teach them the only thing I know! "Boxing"! With that being said I'm opening a boxing gym it will be located between 3 Davenport schools. I want to help my city that I fight for and represent.The only thing I can do is be a positive role model. Help others and bring talent out in others what better way then boxing. The same way Alvino did with me!! The gym will be a positive after school program even if your kid doesn't want to box they can still get into shape it will also be a fitness center with cardio so if your kid plays football or any other sport on its off-season he or she will be more than welcome to stay in shape and join our club. I understand there are other boxing clubs in Davenport but one more won't hurt. Il rather have Davenport be a "Boxing town" than a "town of crime"! I understand I can't change the crimes from happening, but maybe i can help it, or change a few kids lives and turn them into Champions!! I already have 10 kids ready to join I'm asking for help or donations to help me get the gym going. I have a little bit of equipment to get it started but I will need more to get my goals achieved! Here is my non-profit federal ID number 82 -332 -4984. So What you donate goes to the nonprofit organization that has its own bank account so everything we buy will be documented. Who ever donates i will like for them to sign a wall in the new gym at our Grand opening in JANUARY!! Thank you all!!
