Study abroad excursion to England

Hi,
My name is Desmond (Eros) Workhoven. I am a non-traditional student at Texas State University. An awesome opprtunity has presented itself to me and I need your help to seize it.
I am planning on studying abroad in the U.K. this summer where I will be taking a course on Roman/ Medieval British History, and a course on Museum Studies. The latter course is usually offered to Graduate Students only, but they are opening it up to Undergrad Students, such as myself, for this study abroad program. I need these two courses to round out my major, and although I could take two European History courses this summer and stay home, I can go to the places where history actually happened! I have also never been outside the United States and I could really benefit from this experience.
"How will it benefit this guy" you may ask? Well, for one, I am also aspiring to receive my teacher's certification next year, and I could share my experience with my future students. Through my experience I can show them the importance of determination and hard work. By showing I can achieve my goals (and this is a pretty huge goal) they can achieve theirs. By being in the actual locations where this particular history has taken place will help me better to explain it to the students. My experiences can only enhance what students may read in a book. Lastly, my expeience of what I am doing right now, setting up a crowdfunding campaign, will benefit me later in the classroom and the school where I would be teaching.
I am using Go Fund Me to help raise money for travel expenses ( Planes, Trains, and Ferrys), as well as living expenses. I will be in the U.K. from July 8th, through August 8th. In the meantime I am picking up side jobs as well as maintining a successful semester. Every bit of extra money I make will be put toward this endeavor. I know many people give personalized items in exchange for ceratin price levels. What I can do is make personalized postcards which will be sent out upon my return from this excursion. In addition, I will also be creating a blog as well as other social media platforms where you (the donor) can follow me on my adventure!
