Studio 149 Christ Centered Arts

Studio 149 offers a Christ Centered Dance Education through discipleship, making a Kingdom Impact, caring for each student's spiritual, emotional, and physical health. We have been blessed to serve Fort Wayne, Indiana, for the past 16 years, in addition to surrounding communities, cities, and states.
Studio 149 has a mentoring and teaching program for students to observe, assist, and student teach utilizing internships. In this way, they learn to deliberately disciple their peers and become role models to our younger students. Many of our students grow in Dance Education and Ministry, are discipled through the Mentoring Program, and return as Faculty Teachers and Board of Director Members after earning their degrees in their desired fields. We are currently welcoming back previous students that have been blessed with their own little ballerinas! We certainly are a Studio 149 family in Christ!
Studio 149 also offers a Scholarship Program . Through donations, we are able to serve our community, reach out to surrounding cities and states, providing scholarship for every student through sibling discounts, low prices, and free tution when there is need, and most importantly providing the arts through a Christ Centered lens.
Studio 149 is a self funded Non for Profit 5013C. In that, due to our Christian Mission to "Praise the Lord with dance," (PSALM 149) we are unable to receive grant funding. This is where Go Fund Me can help us expand our capabilities to serve through dance, and in the future add more Fine Arts to our programing for all students, including those with special needs.
Currently, Studio 149 is blessed to be able to be a partnership ministry with Promise Ministries; however, we are growing and need to find a brick and mortar home to call our own, so that our ministry can continue to thrive and expand. We are outgrowing the space being provided for us, and have been saving towards a building fund, so that we may create a Studio 149 Christ Centered Conservatory to disciple through the arts and continue making a Kingdom Impact.
Our goal is to raise 1 million dollars by May 1, 2018. These funds will be divided towards a brick and mortar home base for the Studio 149 Christ Centered Conservatory of the Arts, and to begin our Scholarship Endowment for a lasting legacy in providing a Christ Centered Arts Education.
