Studio 301 Spring Season 2018
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Community Members,
We are the student board of Studio 301, a student-run theater organization at UC Davis. This spring, we are staging two productions: a play called Swimmers telling a day in the life of eleven employees at an office building, and Heathers: The Musical, a musical adaptation of the 1989 classic film. All of our productions are completely student-run, providing opportunities for students to perform and direct, regardless of their major or experience.
Our productions provide an incredible opportunity and wonderful community for students, but producing these shows is very expensive. We operate entirely on a volunteer basis and receive very little support from the university. We keep our expenses as low as possible, but in order to maintain the high-quality of our productions, we rely on the generosity of people like you. We hope you will consider donating to help us pay for rehearsal spaces, venue fees, show rights, costumes, props, and sets. Below is an outline of our show expenses. For our spring campaign, we have set a goal of $2,500. We would greatly appreciate a donation at our GoFundMe page. Every dollar of your donation will go straight to our production costs.
In addition to donating, we also invite to you attend our productions this spring. We have already begun rehearsals for both shows and we already know that you will be blown away by the talent of our performers. Swimmers will run on April 13th-15th in Lab A at Wright Hall, and Heathers: The Musical will run May 4th-6th in the Vanderhoef Studio at the Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts.
Thank you so much for your time and support,
The Board of Studio 301 Productions
