Student Study Trip & Funeral Costs

Dear Reader,
I am raising money for my daughter's close friend, Lilly, and her family for two reasons: one happy and one very sad.
Lilly has been working hard saving for a trip to Argentina for a 5 month study abroad where she will experience a different culture, learn Spanish, and have a wonderful educational opportunity. Lilly is a junior in high school and is a co-director, with my daughter and a couple others, of student-led singing group in the East Mountains. She is an amazing young lady and full of energy.
Recently her life had a major change. At the end of April, her father passed away unexpectedly, right before her birthday. As I write this, I am crying, for he was a wonderful person. He was very supportive of her endeavors and was a board member of her singing group.
With that said, the family has incurred funeral costs and now is on one income with bills to pay which include a study abroad expense. I am asking you to help make Lilly's trip come true. Her father would want her to be able to go and the family is not one to ask for help, but Kelsey and I know that their budget will be tight going forward. If you are able to donate to this cause, we would greatly appreciate it.
Our East Mountain community is so special and some how miracles come true when we work together. Thank you for caring for another family in our small community.
