Striker's Medical Fund for Surgery

This is Stryker, he is the beloved service animal of my friend, Army First Sergeant (Retired) Shawn Martin. During a recent sick visit to the vet , Stryker was diagnosed with abdominal/intestinal problems which require surgical intervention.
Shawn is a combat veteran who served his country as an airborne infantryman for twenty years before retiring. He served two deployments (in Iraq) totaling twenty-seven months, working primarily as the Commanding General's personal quick reaction force, and was awarded the Army Commendation Medal with V Device for valor as well as the Bronze Star. Shawn is now 100% permanently disabled and suffers from PTSD. Stryker is not only his service dog, but is Shawn's partner, and it is hurting him to see his best friend in pain.
This campaign is a fundraiser for Stryker's medical needs as Shawn is not in the financial position to pay for major surgery for his service animal. Stryker is not just a dog, he is Shawn's constant companion, going everywhere with him.
Please join us July 19th at 6:00 pm at the Big Red Barn Retreat to participate in a Free Yoga session, sponsored by Ginger Doughty, Certified Yoga Instructor of Begin Within Yoga and Wellness, LLC, on Wednesday. You will find the Big Red Barn at 8024 Winnsboro, Rd, Blythewood, SC 29016 and class will be held in the white building to the left of the entrance to the driveway.
The class is FREE and all donations will go cover medical expenses for Stryker. No amount is too small. Anything you can donate would be greatly appreciated. If you can help, please do. I would like to thank you in advance for your help, and if Stryker could talk, he would thank you, too.
