strike for self empowerment

Strikelab fitness is a boxing/kickboxing program,  founded in 2014 by Sam Yousefi, who is a former professional mixed martial arts fighter.  Living in the district that has major crime can be unsettling for everyone,  Strikelab fitness is here to help!

With a passion for empowering the community through fitness,   
Sam has devoted his life to learning, competing and teaching  self-defense techniques that cultivate confidence and assurance, with the added benefit of an amazing workout!  Sam brings 25 years of experience training and coaching students in and around the DMV area in Self-defense, boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai and Jiu-jitsu.  He is a certified master trainer/nutrition specialist (NASM). 

Strikelab fitness needs a home base with proper equipment and flooring for men and women to train with comfort and safety.  Your donations will assist with purchase of partial materials for buildout, proper equipment and floors and additional necessities to get our facility open and running.

In addition to daily group classes, individual sessions and special workshops, we are excited to share that Strikelab fitness will launch a new  program dedicated to individuals with special needs.  
The program will include exercises and stretching sessions twice a month.  We are hopeful that this will not only promote physical health to students but also allow patents and cate and take  them through an exercise and stretching session twice a month. This also allows the parent and caretaker to relax or join the fun.
