Help Broadcast Local Music

When I was a kid, I loved hearing the radio. Growing up in a small town in QLD I dreamed of making music and having it broadcast on national radio. As I grew older with the changing landscape of the music industry I realised this dream I shared with other musicians and bandmates was slipping further and further away.
In my band, all we cared about was local listeners. We found we loved playing to them live. We found they matter the most to us and reaching with our music. They were the listeners who cared and made the effort to support our show and support the venue and what local music stood for. We found it difficult to make it easy for them to find our gigs and listen to local music from whatever place they wanted to listen too. Frustrated by radio and industry reps I just wanted an easier method for lovers of local music to find their local bands and venues. So, I invented a music App that finds local music using location and has it broadcast back to the listener. It helps the listener to search, find and listen to local music and let the listener help their local music to reach more and more listeners. It also allows the artist to broadcast, connect and communicate to their listeners.
I made Streamhear as a broadcasting App for local, independent musicians. It provides a platform for artists to broadcast their music to listeners who are connecting through their choice of genres and regions.
Listeners in Australia, for example, can tune into Victoria and decide if they wish to listen to all genres of that state, a select few, or just the one. Listeners may also scan as local as they desire, whether it be a suburb, town, city, state, or nation.
Every artist has a fair chance to make their music more popular in the Streamhear charts, and every listener may interact to each song they hear, helping to boost the broadcasting potential of those that they enjoy.
To this date, I have managed to fund the creation of this idea into an IOS App, and have exhausted all remaining financial avenues by expanding on it with a new gig finding function (above) that the artists desperately need. This is a function which all the Streamhear artists I have contacted strongly believe in, for it will inherently boost the interaction between them, listeners, and live music venues. This highly original feature means that Streamhear will also surpass the scope of all currently available local/independent artist “aids”, and encourage increased artist uploads, listener numbers and live crowd attendance.
This GoFundMe campaign is specifically set up to fund the creation of an Android compatible version of the App. I've asked so many Streamhear artists and listeners, They want a Gig finder that helps them and they want and android version. Unfortunately, I can't afford both.
For Streamhear to develop an Android version I need to raise a further $50,000.
Streamhear has its own audio advertising platform and with it I can promote small businesses, venues, music shops, or album releases (these are the obvious candidates – of course any business or artist may benefit from advertising directly to its targeted audience). Any donation will be of an extraordinary help and corresponded with much personal appreciation. Furthermore, I can assist with larger donations with the following:
For $100+ an audio ad played in a major suburb for twelve months
For $500+ an audio ad played in a city for twelve months
For $1000+ an audio ad played in a country for twelve months
I can assist you with audio advertisements, regardless if you have one prepared or not. All advertisements will be aired once the Android version is launched, meaning that your guaranteed twelve months has the best window of opportunity to capture a wider audience.
