Our Story
Through the magic that is independent cinema, Steve and Tracy met and were instantly bonded by their love of comic books, horror films, and all things Disney. Since then, it has been two wonderful years of comic books, horror films, and, you guessed, it, finally a trip to Disneyland.
Steve proposed during the "kiss the girl" scene of the Little Mermaid ride in Disneyland and then they became 'his Ariel and her Eric'. Friar Tuck and Robin Hood later performed a silent marraige ceremony at the park, but we would like to share a real wedding with all of our dear friends and family.
Why a GoFundMe?
We have been living together for a year now, and really, we don't need anything that normal brides and grooms register for, so, what we'd like instead is YOUR help in making our wedding dreams come true! We need your donations to help us pay for our venue, food, and of course, honeymoon to where else? Disneyland! GoFundMe makes it easy for you to contribute to our wedding/honeymoon fund online whenever it is convenient to you. You can give any amount as a wedding gift.
The Reception
Our dream is to throw a fun Disney-themed wedding and reception. (Of course, that means costumes for everyone! Woo!) We are aiming for November 2015, but we need to raise the money to book a venue in advance for this awesome shindig. Venues around Pittsburgh come with a surprisingly hefty rental fee, so we're asking you, our friends and family, to donate as your gift, then come party with us at the wedding!
