I had just finished worshiping Gulf United Church of Christ and it was a good day good sermon and I was feeling pretty good. I was on my way to my friends’ baby shower and was feeling pretty excited even though the weather was nasty out light was red I had to wait I made a right turn and it couldn’t have been a minute and a half that I was on that road guy in front of me had just gotten cut off. The only way I know how to explain this to you is that I could not stop. It was like being trapped in my own car the worst feeling in the world. I knew what was about to happen and there was nothing that I could do nothing! It had to happen. You must understand the scene; to the right of me is a rock a wall rock part of it even comes out of the wall and then to the left of me is opposing traffic where there is no Creek and there’s no place for the other lane to go. So, for all of us this is a dangerous curve and it’s a curve in which it’s only 35 mph and it’s raining and there’s entrances to highways, routes, lights, and a lot of activity of which an accident occurring on a rainy day is not a good thing. I drove a 2007 Toyota Yaris and it served me well so no complaints but to hit something with the hitch and for it to be an avalanche truck or might have well been an eight-wheeler or something of that sort this meant that my poor baby was in for. I slid the whole way I was breaking and nothing and just asking God was this really happening. Was I really going to hit this car? It was so surreal it was the last thing that I needed I just moved to Indiana and I was just coming back to PA for family events and for my national boards this is not what I needed to happen; no F?%$ing way!
The rest of the chapter is done and maybe the beginning for the present to past but you have to read the book...
Have you heard of Heather + Julian from the Million Person Project I had not either until about this time last year? Which is crazy! Because this year is the kind of year that either brakes or makes; meaning that I am glad that God prepared me for these last three years I am not sure if we are done yet! Either way, I have been writing more now than ever. Heather + Julian; especially Heather is amazing! They both have amazing stories to tell and they appear everywhere from Tedtalks, Up worthy, have their own organization which is the Million Person Project and they have helped so many people tell their stories.
End of Sept I got accepted into one of the groups and now the academy but with the way this year has been I cannot afford the cost. Therefore, Heather & Julian have suggested I reach out and try a GoFundMe page, I really want to share my story:
