Most of you have met my dad or even have had the honor to have a simple conversation with him. As most of you know my family suffered a devastating loss when he passed away this past December. What some of you may not know is he passed due to a Pulmonary Embolism, better known as PE. PE affects 200,000 plus Americans annually and its fatal each year in an estimated 100,000 Americans. PE is when a blood clot forms in one part of the body and then moves to another part, unfortunately that other part of the body is often the lungs. Our Fathers embolism moved to his lungs and caused a massive heart attack. This Father’s Day will be our first without Dad. In honor of him We’ve created a gofundme which all proceeds will go to the PAN foundation of the NBCA or National Blood Clot Alliance in our fathers name. Every little bit helps.
