What does Still the days mean?
How often do you sit around reminiscing about things that happened back in the day? Nostalgia... good friends, your favorite gathering spot, good tunes and some drinks in hand. That doesn't have to be a faint memory of yesteryear; we can still make those memories by bringing together friends, family, food, beer and music. That's the meaning behind Still The Days Fest.
Why should I attend this festival?
This pop-up festival is being organized to promote and highlight Greensboro and other NC bands; due to the lack of stable music venues in Greensboro that helps glue Greensboro to the NC independent music scene. We aim to provide you a snapshot of great NC and Greensboro bands that you would otherwise miss. Still The Days aims to show off the wealth of musical talent and local bands that will blow our community away. You can’t pass up going to see 20 plus bands doing 30 minute sets on three separate stages. Drinking great beer, consuming great eats from local food trucks and hanging out with your family and friends.
What do we need?
In order to produce a festival of high quality and one that has the opportunity to grow, there are a few important funds that need to be covered. and resources We are working to bring you some of the best local musicians, food and drinks that will be used to support local musicians and artists. Providing you with the best quality audio, staging and total festival experience.
We are also collecting donations on the day of, but before the 24th we need funds to pay for:
-Live Sound Engineers: $750.00
- Stage Rental: $300.00
- Gas Stipends and Artist Fees: $530.00
- Administrative and Hospitality (Food and drink for artists): $420.00
- Promotional Merchandise : 500.00
