Tom speaks out against mental illness stigma 

My story is  about healing-- both physically and mentally.

Multiple sclerosis made me a fall risk and I'm recovering from a fractured spine after falling down the stairs last November 1st. I have $2,000 in outstanding  and anticipated bills related to my fall.

I have a new mental health diagnosis, too. It is called "Complicated grief  ".

  
Grief over the death of my wife March 3rd is complicated by a pre-existing mental illness--
  bipolar disorder I face serious consequences if complicated grief is not treated it. I need intensive psychotherapy, but $45 an hour co-pays make it  impossible.
