Allow me to (re) introduce myself :)
In case you don't know me, My name is Vanessa Barnett and my blog is StilettosAndSippyCups.com .
When I was pregnant with my first child, Charlie B., I knew I wanted to create a place where I could talk about my parenting experience, while also providing a space where mothers felt understood and supported. Stilettos & Sippy Cups was birthed just a year later, and while it's been a blog and sounding board for all things "mommylife", I always knew I wanted it to be more.
Fast-Forward to now ... S+S is a 501c3 non-profit and has truly become my life's purpose. I want to help mothers, support them in ways that other people aren't and give them the confidence and means to follow their dreams. I believe that mothers are our greatest resource and to invest in them, is to literally invest in our future.
With that being said, I created the Stilettos & Sippy Cups Scholarship ! I'm hoping this endeavour will financially assist mothers looking to enter or return to college ... and that's where YOU come in! I am asking that you donate to this cause and help a mother in need continue striving for academic excellence.
If you are in the LA area, I'm holding a fundraiser on March 19th at Kiddie City (get deets here ). But, if you're not in the area or are unable to attend I would be so thankful if you would contribute to the scholarship here!
