ABOUT THE DOCUMENTARY
Stiletto Sex is a NOT FOR PROFIT volunteer-produced documentary that will go right back to the beginnings of the LGBTI scene in Melbourne, featuring interviews with some of Melbourne’s favourite and most iconic members from the past to the present.
Hosted by Melbourne Identity:
Antony McManus
Directed by Melbourne Filmaker:
Michael James DiMarco
From the 1970's when it was illegal to be gay, right through to the current scene decades later in 2017, this documentary aims to educate the community on the growth and significance of the LGBTI culture today, growing and changing with time, influenced by its past.
The documentary will also aim to compare, explore and educate the community of today about that important past.
"It's important for the past to be documented and these stories to be shared... Otherwise they will be lost forever" - Michael James Dimarco
Production has already begun and we are now looking to raise much needed funds in order for us to complete the production.
Your support will help with:
•Editing costs (Including audio, colour and exporting)
• Marketing costs (Photoshoots, Social Media, Print and Screen)
• Screening Processes (Cinema & TV)
• Distribution of the film to mass audiences
We can’t do it without your help and support.
You can contribute to help make this history-making documentary a reality and to further educate future generations of the Australian Rainbow Community.
EVERY LITTLE BIT HELPS.
EVEN JUST SPREADING THE WORD.
MANY THANKS
