Stifle Wedding

My name is Missy, and I am one of my little sister's matrons of honor, for what should be (and hopefully will be) one of the happiest days of her life. You know, the day that you spend what feels like an eternity thinking about & planning. Dedicating countless hours to the details of this event. My little sister was there... they had planned every detail and were in the homestretch.

Just imagine planning your entire wedding, paying for your entire wedding, just to be told that your all inclusive wedding venue has shut its doors. They just up & close one day - out of nowhere. The venue provided no notice, no refund, and no compassion for the hardship that this situation has put on this couple... emotionally and financially. This is what happened to my sister, Mandy & her fiancé, Jeremiah. They paid the venue over $12,000.

Now we are scrambling. Do they cancel their photographer and florist that they have already paid for on that specific date? Do they just eat the cost for the stationary & postage on their invitations that they just mailed out? All the rentals have been paid, they have family flying into town... if you've ever planned (or participated) in a wedding, you know that this list could go on and on.

I would love nothing more than to help support this amazing couple to make a January 18, 2020 wedding happen. BUT, they have spent everything they saved. They NEED our help. The venue that closed was providing: caterer, alcohol/beverages, DJ, table/chairs, linens, table wear, all of the décor: candles, signs, etc, and of course THE VENUE itself.

Mandy & Jeremiah are trying to recover from this nightmare, but need funds in order to re-book what they can find in this short amount of time. Please consider donating. Every donation will help make this wedding happen.

So, if you haven't heard, now you've heard, Monte Cristo Ballroom in Everett is closed for business. Please help these two try to salvage this day that they will remember forever!!
