Steps for Survival is a sister duo by the name of Kate and Jessica Holz who are walking The Great Ocean Road. The walk will start in Torquay on Saturday the 8th of April and end in Port Campbell the following Saturday on the 15th of April. The walk will take 7 days to complete with a total of 187km being walked.

Why walk The Great Ocean Road?

The funds raised from the walk will go to the organisation Foundation House.Foundation House is the Victorian Foundation for Survivors of Torture. Foundation House provides services to advance the health, wellbeing and human rights of people of refugee backgrounds in Victoria who have experienced torture or other traumatic events in their country of origin or while fleeing those countries.

The money raised will go toward funding The Quentin Buckle Study Grant. The grant is to support its recipient in their chosen field of education or training. Grants of up to$5,000 are awarded and the total number of award recipients in any one year is currently capped at eight. We hope to raise funds to support one of these recipients.
