Stephanie Goins' Battle Against Brain Cancer

From Stephanie: To all those that faithfully prayed for good news on my scan last week and that have been faithfully praying since the beginning of my diagnosis: God is a MIGHTY God that hears our cries in the wilderness and is more faithful then we can ever physically be. He is my power and He is the reason for my existence! He has walked through every door with me and continues to be my rock through all of this! He is my Savior and my Risen King!
Had my results from my scan on Wednesday and they came back amazing. The doctor said that they usually come back worse, the same, or mildly better but today mine were the best you could ask for! He almost didn’t have words to describe the scan and the results! I have words: God is able and is STILL performing miracles today! Praise God for all he has done and is still doing in my life!

Stephanie Goins is 33 years young and just became a mom and has a beautiful 2-month-old son named Adler. She is the loving and devoted wife of Kevin Goins and a friend to many.
Three weeks after giving birth to her son, Adler, she mentioned having headaches with pain that was more intense than normal. Stephanie had lived with headaches for years but something was different. She went for further tests and the doctors found a tumor on her brain. A day later Kevin and Stephanie made the 2 hour trip to Mayo in Jacksonville to undergo surgery and have the tumor removed. Family and friends brought Stephanie’s newborn son to see her before the surgery. Words cannot describe the emotions of saying I love you to your newborn before going into brain surgery.
Stephanie received emergency brain surgery for 6 hours to remove the malignant Glioblastoma brain tumor. Although surgeons removed more than 90℅ of the tumor, OUR battle has only begun.
On Tuesday, May 28th Stephanie began the second campaign against this insidious enemy and started chemo protocol with radiation therapy in Orlando. Stephanie is exploring trial and other options to fight against this cancer.
