Stella and Ruby Vinh's college fund

On October 13th 2016, our hearts were extremely broken, as an amazing man, husband, father, son, uncle, cousin, dentist and friend, Bao Vinh, lost his battle with cancer. A journey that he had bravely endured for over a year and a half. Three weeks ago at Keck Hospital of USC, Bao went into surgery to remove his second brain tumor that aggressively grew again. Unfortunately during surgery, he suffered from a brain aneurysm. Although doctors were able to repair the aneurysm and remove his brain tumor, the battle was far from over. Still in the hospital and heavily sedated for weeks, Bao suffered a stroke and that was when we knew his prognosis was very poor. He passed shortly thereafter. His courage, determination and perseverance to beat this sickness was beyond admirable. He was a true Trojan!

For those who knew Bao, knew that he had an ability to touch our hearts in so many comforting ways. He was compassionate, generous, selfless and a huge jokester. A protector and role model, truly one of a kind. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. He will remain forever in our hearts and his legacy will live on through his 2 beautiful daughters, Stella and Ruby, and wife Sarena.

Bao cherished academics a great deal and knew the importance of a quality education. He was extremely intelligent, graduating from USC Dental School. We would like to set up this fund in honor of Bao, in hopes of providing a college fund for his two young daughters. We want him to rest assure in heaven, knowing that they will be able to attend any university they desire in the future.
