Stefanie's Final 3 Credits!

They say that struggle is nature's way of strengthening us. ...That's at least what I learned on Lost.
I've been in and out of school for about 10 years now, trying my hardest to finish my degree. Money has always been a big hurdle with a lack of financial aid, but I've managed to get myself to this point where I am only three credits short of graduation. I was granted Lifetime Achievement Credits last semester, under the impression that I would be done and graduating in December, but my advisor made me aware that there was a discrepancy when transferring and I was granted credits for a course that I shouldn't have, leaving me with three credits left to fulfill this semester.
Here's the problem with that:
Mercy College Financial Aid will not cover a student who is only taking 3 credits and they won't let me take additional courses because they wouldn't go towards my degree, and thus aren't covered by financial aid. So it's up to me to cover the cost of the final 3 credits if I want to graduate in May. And given the fact that it's been 10 years of this struggle, I want this more than I can possibly express. It's why I'm still going after all this time.
I didn't want it to come to this, but I've decided to start this campaign in hopes that it could help ease the burden.
The cost will cover Tuition & Fees:
Registration Fee: $155
Lifetime Achievement Portfolio Fee: $120
Spring Tuition: $2244
After the $633 grant I received, the total comes out to $1886.
If I want to graduate by May, the payments must be in by March and paid in full. I'm currently working evenings house managing at The Public Theater, but hours are limited as we are in between seasons. I've also been temping where I can to try and pay my bills and the rent. Any help towards this necessary tuition payment would be forever appreciated.
I refuse to give up and I know it'll all be worth it when I have that degree in my hand. Any help that you can provide will go towards making that dream finally come true. I truly have some amazing people in my life and I appreciate each and every one of you for your support over the years as I struggled to make it here. Because of you, I'm so much stronger.
