Get Me To The Static Monsters World Championships

As a sufferer of PTSD I have come a long way in my recovery so far. Part of that recovery has been pursuing my passion for fitness and over the years I have helped many people with their own fitness journeys to reach their goals as well as carrying out different fund raisers for charities. At the beginning of last year I entered in my first strongman competition and found it to be a sport in which really helps me in ways I never thought possible. I have built up my strength but also my mind, it has given me a lot of focus, determination and purpose. I have started to begin to find my courage again by putting myself on the line in front of crowds competing, which can be nerve-wracking and make you feel very vulnerable. Last years progress in these competitions saw me place 2nd in an under 90kg category at two of them. One of these two competitions I competed in was in London. It is called Static Monsters and not only did I come 2nd place, it also ranked me 2nd for Britain. I also rank 9th out of 100 other competitors in the world. This has secured my place in the top ten to get an invite to the world championships in America. I held back a little at my qualifying competition due to nerves and my PTSD holding me back but after my qualifying result I have realised I am capable of a lot more. As such I have made it my mission to push myself further in this sport and my road of recovery. Unfortunately this dream can not go ahead without some serious and generous sponsorship so I am seeking help in hope to fund this adventure and ambition of mine. The funds will contribute towards correct equipment for me to train and improve with as my current equipment is very limited and inaccurate which hinders my progression. The funds will also go toward travel expenses for myself and the accompany of two supporters due to it being out of country and having PTSD I need extra support and guidance, as well as accommodation and other relevant expenses.
