Start Sammy on T!

Hi, my name is Sam. I’m 19 and live in Alabama with my girlfriend, Zoë and our 4 fur babies. Four years ago I began to realize that I wasn’t quite happy with myself and felt as if I was hiding the “real me”. I started changing my clothes my Sophomore year of high school to more masculine clothes. I than cut my hair my junior year for the first time. It was hard to take in, and not everyone accepted it. When I graduated, I moved 1000 miles away to where I am now. It has been almost a year and a half since I’ve moved here. For a while now i’ve been pondering the idea of being on testosterone... I just wasn’t sure how to really accomplish this.. Around this time a year ago I tried getting a therapist to get a recommendation letter to get put on T.. Lucky for me, my insurance didn’t cover a single penny... Which the appointments cost $75-$250 a session.. out of pocket.. Not being completely financially stable right now.. I am not able to afford this.. Another thought that has been running through my mind is top surgery.. but that’s another goal for another time.. Any amount of donation helps me become the person I truly am... Thank you for taking the time out of your day to read a bit of my story.
