Three years ago I was diagnosed with an aggressive form of lymphoma cancer, I started immediate treatment of chemotherapy in Tunis, and so I was forced to settle there because of my treatment schedule. I was administrated 12 rounds of ABVD chemotherapy drug which was not cheap considering the fact I don’t have health insurance so had to finance it on my own and pay the accommodation, CT scans and medication all at once.

After I finished chemotherapy, I had to do a PET scan and the results came out positive, it also showed that cancer spread all over my body including my liver, spine and marrow bone. I was informed by the doctors the only place I could find treatment was in Germany, I contacted clinics in Germany and they sent me the plan and it contained cycles of chemotherapy followed by autologous peripheral stem cell transplantation which all cost roughly around 90,000 euro. Thanks to financial support from family members I had a successful stem cell transplant in cologne university hospital, but in order to reach complete remission I need a drug called brentuximab vedotin, which is  an antibody-drug conjugate medication used to treat relapsed or refractory Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) and systemic anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALCL). Due to being a high-risk patient, this drug is extremely important for me to urgently administer a dosage of 100mg once a month, however, 6 cycles of brentuximab  + medical service equals 13,200euro per cycle. My treatment has drained me financially and physically any sort of support is very much appreciated.
