The Stillwater Area High School Theater Department has been chosen as one of the few American high school troupes to perform at the August 2019 Edinburgh Festival Fringe. This is a tremendous honor and a once-in-a-lifetime experience for these students.
Taking a production to Scotland is a costly undertaking. Our goal is to make sure this study abroad is accessible to all of the students in the group. The approximate cost per student is $6200 of which 28% is non-travel related (venue, technical support, lights, sound, etc.). If we can reduce the financial burden for each student, that would be a HUGE help to their families. If we can do more—even better!
These talented, diligent & determined high school students are balancing school, work, extra curricular activities, and fundraising. Despite numerous fundraising efforts, they are still well short of their goal. Time is running out. Final payments are due June 14, 2019.
