St. Simeon of Verhotursk Church
St. Simeon of Verhotursk Russian Orthodox Church is the only Orthodox parish church in California's Napa Valley, and is also the only church outside of Russia that is named in honor of the great miracle worker of the same name. Due to the ravages of time, this little church has accumulated substantial damage, including the decay and root clogging of the main drainage pipe, rendering the church unusable.
In addition to the vital replacement of plumbing on the premises, St. Simeon of Verhotursk Church has immediate need of these repairs to keep the building fit for use:
- Replacement of HVAC system
- Replacement of rain gutters
- Interior and exterior repainting, including painting of dome (cupola)
- Repair of sections of flooring in priest's quarters
- Replacement of electrical wiring
Plus several other miscellaneous structural repairs.
Of your charity, please consider making a contribution toward the reparation of this gem in the northern Napa Valley, and help return St. Simeon Verhotursk Church to use.
St. Simeon Church is a parish of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia (ROCOR), and is currently owned by the Diocese of Western America, headquartered in San Francisco.
